Our History

FGH Security is launched with the intention of raising the standards of Door Supervision at Lancaster University, where Peter was studying.

The first office for FGH Security was opened in Lancaster in 2004.

FGH Security expands into Security Guarding with Lancashire Council being the first guarding customer.

FGH supplied security at their first ever festival, Kendal Calling. Although this started as a smaller job, it now has a capacity of 30,000 and FGH is still their main supplier.

FGH Security achieves the ACS Contractor Accreditation

Peter appeared on Dragons' Den to secure a loan to grow FGH Security. He received offers from all 5 dragons but, after reviewing the paperwork, decided not to pursue the deal.

FGH Security open their second office in Manchester City Centre.

FGH Security wins a major a contract to supply one of the worlds most iconic festivals in the heart of Somerset.

FGH Security wins a major contract to supply Albert's Schloss in Manchester.

Keeping People Safe mission statement agreed.

FGH Security opens their London office.

We have placed an order to secure three Tesla Cyber Trucks as soon as they are released in the UK. They will primarily be for use on our festivals and will be allocated to Operations Managers.

FGH Security wins the contract for the Liverpool Cup Parade, the celebration of Liverpool winning the UEFA Champions League.

FGH Security is recognised as a Sunday Times Top 100 Best Company to work for.

A BID in London which covers Oxford Street, Regent Street and the surrounding areas.

FGH Security provides security provision for Europe's biggest Christmas festival.

FGH Security is selected as the Official Stewarding Provider for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
